Any good or bad experiences with Eagle Warranty Corporations for vehicle extended warranties?

Posted by admin

I am in the process of purchasing a used car and this is the warranty that is offered.
What do i look out for in extended warranties?

I never heard of Eagle Warranty Corp. I would try your local dealer of the same make!

Does anyone know of any vehicle extended warranty companies that are legit?

I have been having a lot of problems with my car, so I want to buy some extended warranty of some sort. Thanks.

Check with your car insurance company. They may offer "breakdown insurance", which is same as extended warranty. I know Allstate offers it.

Also, depending on the age of your car, you MAY be able to get factory extended warranty, but those cost a bit, and your car must be less than 3 years old for cheaper coverage (else the rate goes up quite a bit).

Finally, I believe GE actually sells extended warranty, but I’m not sure if they sell direct to consumer or just through dealers.

Will my warranty cover vehicle repairs even though I took vehicle somewhere else?

I have a 1 year warranty that I purchased with my used vehicle last year and in March I had to take my car to a service facility to get it fixed due to a crank sensor failing.

I had to spend about $400 in repairs plus towing.

Do you think I can get that money back from my warranty provider if I let them know that my car failed within the one year period when the warranty was active even though I didnt take it to their mechanics?
The nearest facility that could honor the warranty is the actual dealership of Mercedes Benz and they’re too far away and their service sucks.

I will read into the particulars of the warranty and see what it covers.

There are too many unknowns in your question for anyone to give an accurate answer. WHAT was wrong? WHY didn’t you tow it to a facility that would honor the warranty? Where was it when it broke? WHO is the warranty with? If you were in an isolated locale and had no choice of where to tow it they will sometimes cover you but normally this request must be proceded with a phoned request to the warranty company.

How does a recall compare to a warranty on a vehicle?

The warranty on my vehicle already expired. How ever I noticed there is a recall on my vehicle and the recall is the reason for my mechanical failure. Does my vehicle still qualify for repairs done by the dealer?

a recall is a factory defect in the manufacturing of the vehicle and a warranty covers your car from the parts going bad in a certain amount of time or miles which ever comes first, but a factory recall has to be covered for as long as you own the car.they should replace and fix your car free of charge…

Is the Easy Care Extended Car Warranty (for $2900) a good warranty to purchase for my 2003Lexus SC430?

I’m really nervous about purchasing an extended car warranty. I’m concerned that it will be a waste of money in the event they refuse to take care of claim.

If you drive like an idiot, get it.
If you drive like a normal person, don’t.

is it too late to get an extended car warranty after the factory warranty expired?

My Car has 67,000 miles on it now and the factory warranty expired on it at 60,000. Is it too late to find an extended warranty for it now? I don’t want to be SOL!! Plz help!!!

plenty of warranty companies out there that will take your money, I’m surprised you haven’t been contacted already from some of them, I get those in the mail about every 2 months and my warranty expired about 3 yrs. ago on my trailblazer.

Is the car warranty (bumper to bumper) purchased from insurance company good?

I have not seen the paperwork yet, but just curious has anyone purchased warranty for car thru insurance company? is it comparable to that offered from dealership? have you had to use the warranty? was it a good experience? could u use the dealership repair shop? I’m waiting on the official paper, but can’t wait…I’m really curious about this…

No, and you usually get screwed. Many companies make it very hard for you to file a claim and even harder to actually get the work done and paid for. Nothing beats the original manufacturers warranty.

If a person bought an extended car warranty on a vehicle, does a new buyer automatically get the warranty?

Posted by admin

The person who owned the car previously bought an extended warranty. It was supposed to be offered to us and it wasn’t (it was free of charge). Now we are having trouble and they don’t know how to handle it. We feel they messed up by not telling us she had this and offering it to us.

most warranties are none transferrable

Wicht one is the best deal for a Car Warranty for Less in a mazda tribute LX with 120.000 miles?

Posted by admin

Witch Company is the best deal for a car warranty for less; for a 2002 Mazda Tribute LX with over 120.000 miles. By far this suv never ever gave me serious problems (knocking wood) but I start getting concerning because the high miles, I am trying to avoid buying a new car, that will be my last choice. The economic of this country is unstable.

For some people the warranties arent worth it but for me it is. I would have been really in a bind without it a couple times with my car when I didnt have the extra money to pay up front. I was really glad I had the extended warranty.

It’s not hard to get a estimate online to check how much it will run you for a policy. I have recommended http://warranty.safelinked.info - Good luck.

Will my factory car warranty cover me if it over heats and theirs only water in the coolant tank.?

Posted by admin

My car overheated and dealership says the engine is in bad shape. The dealership now says that they cant replace it until the warranty adjuster looks at it. Will they make a big deal if my car was running with about 5% antifreeze and the rest was water. The coolant tank was full at the time of this incident with those amounts of coolant and water.

They might argue about the % antifreeze, but more than that made the car overheat. Something went wrong before all this, or the system wouldn’t be full of just water. When did the hose burst? Does the water pump leak- or work at all? Did an accessory belt break or get lost- they’ll see a new one and wonder? A bad head gasket or cracked head can cause coolant loss. Even letting the coolant out, flushing the engine and refilling can leave air pockets in the block that can cause overheating. Are you ready to buy a rebuilt engine and have it installed? You’re a challenger against a bigger opponent. Being smart and informed may help you, but I’d pray too.
